Overseas

Since the late 1980's, CDM has been traveling and ministering in Asia, specifically in the nations of the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macau. The goal of these annual trips to the Philippines has been for training local pastors and their leaders. In recent years, there has been an emphasis on children and youth, in addition to training leaders to minister to to children and youth. CDM supports a school in Urdaneta, Philippines that provides a Christian education for over 200 children in kindergarten through 12th grades.

In addition CDM helps support a children's ministry in Guatemala. This ministry touches children with the Jesus film and an outdoor Bible School.

CDM also participates in an annual missions seminar at Beulah Heights University (BHU) in Atlanta, Georgia. M.O.S.T. (Missions Overseas Short Term) is an intense, 50-hour seminar for those who wish to receive training to participate in short term missions trips. Once of CDM's newest projects is helping to provide much needed supplies for the international students who come to BHU each year.

On The Home Front

CDM helps support national and local ministries that minister to children and adults alike. We help support Feed the Children which helps feed hungry children here in our own country. We also support an Atlanta inner city ministry which provides food and clothing to the homeless. The International Students at BHU (see You Can Be A Blessing) are another way we support the nations right here in our own back yard. We have an ongoing benevolence fund which reaches out to those within our own family during times of need.

Philippines Children's Projects Update

We are excited to see how God continues to provide for the Philippines Children's Projects.

This project began in the heart of God. While on her fifth missions trip to the Philippines, Carolyn was impressed of the Lord to purchase one-third of the existing school and compound for the children. She believes God's reason for this is so that she can be a voice in determining the direction and curriculum of the school in the days to come.

Another phase of these projects is to build dormitories and secure staff to rescue the street kids who have no home and beg for their food. These children live together on the streets in small colonies, ranging in age from 4 to 12 years old. They not only need a home and an education, but they are in need of medical attention as well.
