A Biographical Sketch of Carolyn Driver
Carolyn Driver is married to Larry Driver and resides in Fayetteville, Georgia. She is an ordained minister, pastor, gifted counselor, teacher, and an author. Pastor Carolyn Driver distinguished her professional career in the fields of Business, Education and Ministry for over two decades, bringing to her current position a wealth of knowledge, corporate positioning and expertise to guide her into a world-class ministry in the 21st century. Carolyn Driver is Founder and President of Christ Discipleship Ministries, Inc., a 501 (c)(3), non-profit corporation. During her tenure, Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) had established a solid track record as an innovative leader in human and community development through a variety of programs and services. The executive team has been skillfully equipped to facilitate the growth and expansion of CDM, while enriching the quality of life for the community. Under the leadership of Pastor Carolyn Driver, CDM has facilitated services on a domestic and international basis in the areas of transitional housing, supportive services, education, economic and community development, and health care services. In 2004, CDM acquired a one million dollar asset base to facilitate a resource and training center in Fairburn, Georgia. The ministry has forged a number of significant partnerships, and is convening a faith-based collaborative, which will assist in providing viable services to disabled veterans, educational and training services to the youth and adult population, while supporting the needs of the elderly within the community. Her most notable experience in the field of higher education includes serving as Academic Dean for Trinity Bible College in Peachtree City, Georgia, for Missions Exposure Training (MET) school in South Africa, and for Covenant Bible College in Portal, Georgia. She has been privileged to train leaders in the African nations of Zimbabwe, Kenya and South Africa; under the mango trees and in the jungles of the Philippines; in the churches of Hong Kong and Macao; in the villages of Mexico; and on the frozen shores of Iceland. Her professional credits and experiences include hosting the TBN program and she has appeared on local and national TV. She has also published a column in the West Alabama Gazette newspaper.
Qualifications
Carolyn Driver received her Bachelor of Science in Education at Memphis State University, a Masters Degree from West Georgia (College) University, and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program of Education at the University of South Africa in Pretoria, South Africa. In addition, she has advanced her training in the area of Church Administration through extended course work, seminars and conferences.
Carolyn Driver is regarded as a Church Growth expert throughout the United States and within the international community. Her talents and skills have been tapped by government, corporations, communities of faith, and institutions of higher learning.
