Through divine direction CDM has become a catalyst for forming a networking of churches. Each part of the body is as important as the other, and it takes all of us working together in order for the Body of Christ as a whole to function properly. God's Word teaches us this.
"For the body is not one member, but many...And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body. And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you...but God heat tempered the body together...that there should be no schism (division) in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honored, all the members rejoice with it" (I Corinthians 12:14-26).
We usually hear this portion of scripture taught in reference to an individual church and its members, but at CDM we believe it refers to the Body of Christ at large. As scripture says,
"This is my body which is broken for you...This cup is the new testament in my blood: do this in remembrance of Me" (I Corinthians 11:24-25).
Jesus' body was broken once and for all so His "Body" wouldn't have to be broken, bruised and divided. His goal is that we all be in unity.
"That they all may be one: as thou, Father, art in me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou has send Me" (John 17:21).
God is restoring the apostolic and prophetic offices to His church today. Part of that restoration is to see the Body of Christ at large come together in unity. We believe another aspect of that is to "reproduce" the vision of CDM by networking churches. We look forward to networking with other churches here in the U.S. as well as other countries in the days ahead.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 27:57 -- NIV).
